LAZY SKIN CARE

A lot of us hate going to the gym. I always say I will go starting Monday. We want instant results without having to work for it. Which is why we have all tried crash dieting. Why waste time on fixing the problem when we can have an immediate solution that will not work after 1 week? Since we like immediate gratification, I thought the best would be to write my next blog about skin care for lazy people like myself. Although I might not be able to provide tips as lazy as you might enjoy, but realistically these tips are the laziest and probably the best way to cure many skin issues we have. I will not tell you to steam your face every day over heated water, because I know you will read it and think its a great tip but never try it. Instead, I will teach you which products to buy, which to replace and easy solutions to your problems.

1) If you have a pimple and need it gone by yesterday this is for you. Put a bit of honey on your pimple, cover it with cinnamon and go to sleep. Wake up in the morning and go: Oh My God! Where is that pimple, what sorcery is this???

2) Say no to dark circles under your eyes: Put a green tea bag on your eyes for 10-15 minutes. You might not be as drastically shocked as in tip #1 and calling out to the gods about this miracle. However, you will be shocked (pleasantly I hope) at lack of puffiness.

3) Replace your daily cleanser with a skin care product that identifies water as the first ingredient. "Why" you may ask? Most over the shelf products use alcohol as the first ingredient. Alcohol is a dehydrator. Ever remember your college days when you consumed massive amounts of alcohol because it was fun to make terrible decisions & destroy your body for no good reason? Do you remember the aftereffects: feeling awful over the toilet, praying & bargaining that you will never do it again? Do you remember feeling pretty thirsty after or the day after? I am sure you also remember that drinking water helped significantly. That is why drinking water has always been so encouraged: proper hydration. If you utilize products that heavily administer alcohol straight to your skin you are causing dehydration to your skin. Dehydration causes wrinkles and lines on your skin. You become a raisin. I will emphasize more on tip #4.

4) Use Sunscreen everyday. Just like how the sun can turn grapes into raisins by dehydrating the fruit, your skin is losing moisture through exposure to the sun. Don't be a raisin. Fight saggy wrinkly skin by using a sunscreen. Do not try to save extra $2 by buying an alcohol based product at CVS. Again, buy a water based sunscreen. If you know you will forget to put on sunscreen, along with all the hassles of utilizing makeup then use a BB creme with sunscreen in it. BB creme is a great replacement that combines makeup and sunscreen. I use BB creme on brides religiously. Here are my favorites: Nude by Christian Dior or Tinted Sunscreen by Image.

5) Of course if you are one of those people who did not listen to tip #4 and now cursing yourself because your skin is peeling due to sunburn, this tip is for you. Buy 100% Aloe Vera Gel. Aloe Vera Gel regenerates skin. Use Aloe Vera even without sunburn. Because Aloe Vera is able to regenerate skin, your skin will do a Benjamin Button over time and become baby soft. You can fight wrinkles for years but only use 100% Aloe Gel.

That is all for today. Hope making a few changes in your product line and a few simple procedures can help you stay young with clear skin for years to come without having to work too hard for it.
